2021, 70x70cm, Oil and Spray Paint on Canvas

The colours were inspired by Bobbie's geography background and represent tropical islands.

This artwork really pushed the boundaries of the medium by saturating the paint with spirits, and using the handmade canvas Bobbie was able to explore the textures created with the paint. Incorporating the metallic element using spray paint bought a great metallic shine to the work and a great contrast against the dark blue. 

The price is for the unframed piece displayed on a stretched canvas with white edges.
